The English version of the website, pro.hukumonline.com, also publishes premium commentary and analysis of current Indonesian law. In recent years, hukumonline.com began using Artificial Intelligent based computer program to build the country’s largest database of laws, regulations and court decisions. In 2018, Hukumonline also launched LIA (Legal Intelligent Assistant), the first legal chat-bot in Indonesia. LIA currently covers three basic legal subjects of family law and in progress to cover more legal subjects. Hukumonline.com is continuing to grow and develop its business model through the establishment of two subsidiaries: easybiz.id and Justika.com.
With over 6000 legal terms, RechtEasy.at - which was nominated as "Best Legal Tech Innovation 2019 service provider" - is Austria's largest free legal research tool. It was created in 2012 in cooperation with the university and its legal faculty representatives due to the need to explain Austrian legal terms in a transparent and simple manner, differentiated from German law. Most of the terms were created directly by our team in a phase of a year where we did nothing but to write articles. The long-awaited relaunch then took place in March 2019, which caused a sensation inside and outside the legal sector. Since then, the platform not only show legal terms, but also display all federal laws, including judicature, among the paragraphs and links them together. In addition, there is a new and intuitive legal job advertisement plattform. Appropriate advertisements from the integrated job portal are automatically suggested to users who are looking for a legal term in the relevant field. Without being actively looking for a job, this networking opens up completely new options that one might not have even considered personally. In order to offer users additional added value, successive explanatory videos are added to the respective legal terms. Well-known lawyers from Austria were won over as experts.
LexIQ develops software (SaaS) solutions for data analysis. LexIQ's mission is to provide insight into (legal) data. LexIQ's software (SaaS) solutions draw strength from machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP). By labeling, analyzing and interactive visualization of data, LexIQ increases the accessibility and insight of unstructured (often textual) data. LexIQ's clientele consists of customers from the legal sector (e.g. EY, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and USG Legal), the banking sector (e.g. Rabobank) and the government (e.g. the Public Prosecution Service and the Council for the Judiciary). Many of LexIQ's (development) projects take place in close collaboration with these types of clients and/or universities. In addition to the fact that LexIQ is known for several appearances in the media, LexIQ is known as a finalist at the 1st edition of the De Brauw Legal Innovation Challenge (BLIC), semi-finalist at the 2nd edition of the Legal Tech Startup Awards and winner of the Audience Award at the 8th edition of the HiiL Justice Accelerator.
