We are expert lawyers who can automate the most complex documents using the world's leading document automation software, HotDocs. We specialise in automating documents that others have tried and failed to automate. Working with customers' own documents, we do all the automation, and then can make the documents available via our secure website www.lawhawk.nz, removing the need to install and maintain any software. Prices are fixed in advance and only payable on satisfactory delivery. Delivery times are typically days or weeks, depending on the complexity of the job. We also have a range of "off the shelf" documents that can be bought on a pay per use basis within New Zealand - no subscriptions required.

Legal Knowledge Modelling • Specialized Web Editors for Legal Drafting and Legal reasoning BitNomos has large experience to develop specialized web editors for supporting legal drafting, consolidation, semantic web information retrieval of legal documents, legal reasoning, checking compliance. SIMPLEX and RAWE are two of these editors: the first dedicated to the legal document markup (LegalXML standard family of OASIS) using Akoma Ntoso, the second one dedicated to model in LegalRuleML norms (e.g., rights, obligations, violations, permissions, prohibitions). We have experience also with right-to-left languages (e.g., Arabic, Hebrew) and with non-Latin alphabets (e.g., Russian, Chinese). Our products reflect the legal tradition of each country, and we apply legal theory principles to foster the local legal culture using machine-readable Akoma Ntoso annotation. The goal is to help the law-making process making it quicker, better in quality, transparent, updated, digital-ready, machine-consumable and searchable. • Akoma Ntoso converter of legal document collection We have large experience to convert any legacy document collection into Akoma Ntoso, also managing multilingualism, multi-formats (e.g., TXT, Word, PDF). We use advanced NLP and AI tools to detect the legal knowledge inside of the documents. We use also specific dashboard interface where to monitor the percentage of success of the conversion. Human-Computer-Interfaces are a key point for refining the automatic conversion outcome. • Legal Ontologies Legal document annotation is integrated with legal ontologies using different knowledge formalization: light linguistic ontology (EUROVOC), linked data modelling (DCAT), legal domain ontology (e.g., privacy, IPR, SDG, AGROVOC), core ontology (e.g., ontology design patterns). Legal ontologies support knowledge graph representation and help the information retrieval using SPARQL queries in order to detect relationships in the complex network of the legal system. Open Government data is one goal of these legal ontologies but also to support smart contract with an homogenous taxonomy of legal concepts and also the legal reasoning in order to make all the application interoperable through a common semantic. • AI, Legal Data Analytics and Akoma Ntoso AI and Data Analytics are now positively applied to legal documents and data, however without the appropriate context and the document structure the knowledge extracted, classified, grouped, inferred are not well connected each other. In the legal domain the context is fundamental in particular concerning the jurisdiction, the temporal parameters, the spatial dimension, the interrelationship between obligations and derogations. For this reason, the BitNomos team developed customized AI and data analytics techniques to combine Akoma Ntoso knowledge annotation with the Machine Learning and Deep learning advantages. Hybrid solution using AI, LegalXML standards, Semantic web, Legal Ontologies is our approach for preserving the power of the legal knowledge. • Advanced LegalXML, AI, Big Data, Blockchain training BitNomos team offers also advanced and specialistic training courses to specific audience and target about LegalXML standards, AI, Big data and privacy-by-design, Blockchain applied in legal domain. Our training includes practical sessions, exercises, examples, designed with the customer using innovative learning techniques also in remote way. • Legal Design Legal document is the main instrument used for centauries by legal disciplines to generate norms (e.g. legislative regulations), prescriptive rules (e.g., administrative ordinance, judgments), contracts. Legal document is also a media to communicate the legal message to citizens, enterprises, authorities. For this reason, different disciplines are needed: Human-computer interaction methodology, legal theory approach, legal knowledge representation using formal ontology, language analysis, visual and art techniques. BitNomos has implemented several solutions in this light to simplify the legal concepts and to explain them to the end-user without relax the legal message. Legal Informatics Analysis and Consultancy • Privacy-by-design, Law-by-design, Ethics-by-design The EU regulation is shaping the data society adopting several new rules. Privacy, data governance, AI regulation, Digital market, Copyrights are now key assets of each innovative informatic solution in order to have success in the market. Minimizing the legal risks and respecting the ethics principles are fundamental approaches for winning ICT solutions. We offer high level consultancy capable to integrate legal and ethics analysis with a deep knowledge of technical domains. This solution offers a platform based on blockchain (e.g., Ethereum, Algorand) that stores in IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) the documents (e.g., contract, regulations, administrative acts) using the electronic identification for the authentication of the actors. We are compliant with eIDAS regulation and SPID, in this way the legal document tracked in the blockchain and executed by smart contract is indissoluble linked with the intelligible legal document human-readable, implementing in this way the principle of explicability and transparency. Open data Licence, Internet of Things policy, Privacy data policy and agreement are only some examples of scenario manageable with this platform.
