TimeBinder is a digital timestamping service for recording when files existed and detecting later changes. It creates SHA-256 fingerprints of files in the browser, anchors those fingerprints to the Bitcoin blockchain, and provides certificates and verification tools without uploading the original files. The service is used for legal documents and evidence, as well as records created by professionals such as inventors, designers, writers, and software developers.
