LEGAION addresses the reliability problem in legal AI. Rather than relying on a single model's output, the platform runs a dual-model process: one model generates, a second independent model audits that output, and the result is validated against official primary sources — including national legislative and case-law databases and EU legal databases — with a full audit trail. Where a legal basis cannot be confirmed, the system states this explicitly instead of producing a plausible answer. The product spans contract review, litigation analysis, judicial decision analytics, cross-border regulatory conflict detection, and document drafting, delivered through a Microsoft Word add-in, a web application, and a connector allowing access from external AI assistants. Client data is hosted in the European Union and is not used to train models. Personal data is pseudonymised on the client device before any model call, and an organisation-level mode restricts document content from leaving the client environment altogether. The company operates from the United States with its engineering centre in Katowice, Poland, and serves law firms and in-house legal departments across multiple European jurisdictions.
