LexMT is an AI-powered legal research platform focused on Maltese law and built for practitioners in Malta. It searches a corpus that includes tens of thousands of Maltese court judgments from all courts, the complete Maltese statute book, Court of Justice of the European Union decisions, BAILII Admiralty decisions, and guidance documents from bodies such as the FIAU, MFSA, MGA, Planning Authority, and Transport Malta. The system retrieves relevant passages and returns cited answers that reference the specific statute article, judgment, and source document link. Users can also upload case files and ask matter-specific questions answered from both their documents and Maltese legal sources, supporting case-law research, legal opinions, and contract drafting.
