ligi.ai is a Malta-based legal research platform specializing in Maltese law, positioned as one of the first AI-powered legal research tools built for the Maltese legal system. Using natural language processing, it lets users query the platform in ordinary language and searches Malta case law and the complete body of Maltese statutory law, returning ranked results with citations that link directly to the original judgments and legislation and are verifiable against official sources. The platform restricts its answers to documents held in its database and is kept current with legislative updates. It was custom-built for Day One Advisory by technology firm Neural AI in collaboration with local law firms, and serves both legal professionals and individuals working with Maltese law.
