FirmaOK is an Ecuadorian electronic signature service that issues digital certificates and lets users sign documents online. It provides P12 certificates for natural persons, holders of a tax identification number (RUC), and legal representatives, with identity verification through a fully digital process that includes liveness detection. Documents such as PDFs can be signed directly in the browser without local installation. The certificates are issued through an entity accredited by the telecommunications regulator (ARCOTEL) and comply with Ecuador Electronic Commerce Law and the personal data protection law (LOPDP), giving signatures legal validity for contracts and government procedures including SRI, SENAE, Quipux, and SERCOP. The service is aimed at individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies.
